Get ready for one of the most scenic and exciting races on the Texas coast! The 11th Annual Summer Causeway Run & Walk returns on Saturday, September 12, 2026, bringing runners and walkers together for an unforgettable sunrise experience across the iconic Queen Isabella Causeway.
Whether you’re chasing a personal record, enjoying a fitness challenge, or simply looking for a fun morning with family and friends, this event offers something for everyone. Participants will enjoy breathtaking views of the Laguna Madre Bay, a vibrant race-day atmosphere, and the unique opportunity to cross the Causeway as the sun rises over the Gulf Coast.

To improve participant flow and enhance the race experience, the 10K event will feature two start wave options.
🏁 10K Competitive Wave Start 6:30 AM – 6:40 AM
Designed for competitive runners seeking a faster, less crowded start and the opportunity to pursue a personal record.
🏁 10K Open Start 7:00 AM
Open to all 10K participants, including recreational runners, joggers, run/walk participants, and larger groups!
🏁 5K Walk 7:30 AM
All 5K participants will start together and enjoy a fun, community-focused sunrise walk, jog, or run!
