42nd Annual Causeway Run

Event date: Saturday, April 11, 2026

Get ready for the 42nd Annual Causeway Run & Walk on Saturday, April 11, 2026! Starting at the Port Isabel Event & Cultural Center, runners and walkers will cross the iconic Queen Isabella Causeway, taking in stunning coastal views along the way. Participants can choose between a 5K or 10K: 10K runners will enjoy an extended route through Isla Blanca Park, running along the beach before heading to the finish, while 5K participants will cross the Causeway and head straight to the finish line at the Beach Waterpark on South Padre Island. Early Bird registration is live now through March 10th at 10 PM, guaranteeing a race shirt for Early Bird participants. After that, prices increase and shirts are available first come, first served. Invite your friends, enjoy the coastal scenery, and celebrate at the finish line award ceremony and post-race celebration at the Beach Waterpark. Don’t miss out—see you at the start line!
